The Catholic Guild at John F. Kennedy International Airport is a society of Catholic men and women, who are interested in maintaining the Catholic presence and service at the airport to about 46 million passengers and some 36,000 employees. We are proudly entering the 60th year of our existence and drawing from a rich history of our predecessors.
The Catholic Guild is not only a society of those who currently work or have worked at JFK. It is open to all interested in membership living worldwide.
Structurally, the Guild currently consists of two equally important groups: General Members and Board Members. In both cases, membership is maintained by annual dues paid to Our Lady of the Skies Chapel, which holds of Guild funds in a restricted account. The Chaplain along with two Trustees from the Guild are responsible for the proper use of these funds, strictly connected to the presence and service provided by the Chapel.
In October of each year, the Catholic Guild is organizing an Annual Luncheon, which is the main fundraiser for the Chapel. Every year the Board selects nominees which are to be honored at the Luncheon. We proudly celebrate and honor their presence at JFK airport and beyond.
