The Peace Light from Bethlehem arrived in the United States on Saturday, December 11, 2021, onboard Austrian airlines flight 87. The Welcoming Ceremony took place outside of Our Lady of the Skies Chapel at Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport. There were approximately 100 people in attendance, mostly Boy & Girl Scouts and their parents/chaperones. The event was streamed live. You can watch it again below. At this time the flame is on its way to many churches, institutions, and organizations across North America. May this light bring Peace to the world, communities, families, and individuals as well!
